Meet Jackie
About Us

therapist for adults in matthews north carolina

Hi! I am so glad you are here. This is the first step to getting the support you may be seeking. My name is Jackie Quartuccio, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families grow and thrive through various life circumstances. Whatever it is that is bringing you to counseling now, I’d love to discuss your needs and determine if I’d be a good fit for walking with you through this journey.

I enjoy working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I have a special interest in working with women, particularly those who are navigating difficult relationships, marital challenges, fertility struggles, and the pregnancy and postpartum stages of parenthood. I have specialized training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International. I also have experience working with both birth mothers and adoptive parents and am trained to support individuals and couples growing their families through private adoption, as well as kinship and foster care.

Working with couples, I am skilled in premarital counseling and working with families through life challenges and transitions. Specifically, I enjoy helping couples with family planning, preparing for family growth, working through challenges related to roles in the family system, adjustment post having a baby or growing the family through adoption, parenting support, and improving communication and conflict resolution skills.

I utilize several approaches when working with clients and consistently operate from a person centered and strength-based orientation. I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to support individuals in increasing insight and developing helpful coping skills. I am also trained in administering Prepare & Enrich, a premarital/marriage assessment for couples.

I attended Liberty University for my undergraduate education, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology. I received my master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University with a Violence Against Women and Children certificate.

Jackie is available for in-person appointments, as well as telehealth appointments for those residing in North Carolina.
